چکیده
This study analysed the stress and displacement responses of an all-clamped rectangular thick plate subjected to a uniformly distributed load using polynomial functions. A shear deformation function was incorporated in determination general governing equations; hence, there is no need for correction factors. Approximate Polynomial Displacement Functions w, u, v all clamped plates subject transverse loading were obtained. Numerical results obtained equations from literature non-dimensional form displacements stresses (CCCC) at different aspect span-depth ratios determine efficiency this theory. The validated as they showed good agreement with by other researchers available literature. Hence, theory can be used reliable, concise, easy dependable means analysis plates. also indicate that ratio 100 above, classical (CPT) analyse plates, numerical values are approximately equal CPT.

Problem statement: Rectangular steel plates are widely used in various steel structures and steel industries. For a proper design of steel plate structures and efficient use of material, the behavior, strength, buckling and post-buckling characteristics of plates should be accurately determined. Approach: Considering the significance of this matter, lateral vibration of thick rectangular plates...
